Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) is back to her old scheming ways in Coronation Street, and her latest plan has the potential to tear Abi Webster’s (Sally Carman) world apart.
With Carl caught between two women, Tracy seizes her moment to take control, and she’s not afraid to play dirty to get what she wants.
It all kicks off when Carl is left reeling after Abi suggests the pair should leave Weatherfield behind for good and start a fresh new life together in Germany. For Abi, the dream is a clean slate and a chance to escape the guilt that’s been eating away at her.
Despite her feelings, she confides in Tracy at the café, explaining that she never meant to fall for Carl and that the last thing she would ever want is to hurt Kevin.

But Abi has seriously underestimated Tracy. Instead of offering sympathy or keeping the secret safe, Tracy sees an opportunity to manipulate the situation to her advantage. With both Abi and Carl now firmly under her thumb, she begins to plot her next move.
While Abi prepares to leave for Mallorca, she tries to reassure Carl that she has no intention of ending up in Kevin’s bed.
Tracy stirs the pot by telling Abi that she and Carl shared a kiss at the hotel. Abi is shaken by the revelation, but Tracy isn’t done yet. Later in the Rovers, she ups the ante by making her intentions toward Carl crystal clear, boldly telling him she’d like to take things further and sleep with him.
And it’s in that moment that Tracy’s trap is sprung. Armed with her phone set to record, she heads to Carl’s hotel room, knocks on the door, and propositions him with an afternoon in bed together. But will Carl agree?

The stakes couldn’t be higher. If Tracy gets what she wants, Abi’s carefully hidden secret will come crashing down, Kevin will be left heartbroken, and Carl’s double life could be exposed.
But the real question is whether Carl will give in to temptation or find the strength to resist Tracy’s advances.
