While Paramount has yet to formally announce the title or release date, multiple outlets have previously reported that the Yellowstone sequel is set to debut this fall, likely around November. Hauser’s co-star Kelly Reilly is also slated to return as Beth Dutton, making the series a direct continuation of their iconic and often chaotic love story. And no doubt some local hoodlums will find their faces smashed in.
Hauser didn’t clarify the official name of the spin-off in his interview, but he did promise that it will feel like a natural extension of what Yellowstone fans already know and love, so as for the title? Your guess is as good as ours “Kelly and I going and working our ass off trying to create something special,” he said, adding that the story will follow “the same that we’ve been doing for the last seven years.”At Paramount Global’s 2025 earnings call for 2025, it was confirmed that the spin-off would pick up directly after the Yellowstone series finale, which aired in December 2024, which showed Rip and Beth packing up and heading to a quiet, small ranch outside Dillon, Montana with their adopted son Carter. It’s a surprisingly quiet and optimistic ending for the two characters who lived with the most chaos and violence in the entire series, if not the world. Currently, no additional cast members have been confirmed, but given the interconnected nature of Sheridan’s universe, don’t be surprised if familiar faces like Lloyd (Forrie J. Smith), Walker (Ryan Bingham), or Lynelle Perry (Wendy Moniz) show up down the line.
The new Beth and Rip series is expected to premiere in the final quarter of 2025, sharing the fall spotlight with other Sheridan productions like Landman Season 2 and Mayor of Kingstown Season 4. It’s the Sheridan season. Meanwhile, Tulsa King Season 3 arrives in September, with Y: Marshals coming in early 2026 and 1944 circling a late 2026 premiere.
Stay tuned for more updates, including the official title, whatever the heck that is.
