General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, May 27 tease necessary interventions, runaway road trips, and an angry daughter lashes out!
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) makes a necessary intervention, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) looks like he’s going on a runaway road trip, and Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) lashes out!
Necessary Interventions
After Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) showed up at the Nurses’ Ball unexpectedly to everyone except perhaps Jason, he left with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) in his arms.
Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew Quartermaine/Cain (Cameron Mathison) were in shock, and they run after Michael and Wiley. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)
Jason makes a necessary intervention as he tells them that following them would be a bad idea!
An additional GH Sneak Peek shows Michael telling Wiley where they’re going. They’re going for a “sleepover” at grandma Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house and Michael says Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork-Macko) are already there!
Cody Bell Has Regrets
Still at the Metro Court following Michael’s exit with Wiley, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) talks about his regrets to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).
But his regrets are about a previous exit-Gio’s, after he lost it on stage and even broke his violin!
Cody tells Lulu he doesn’t know if they made the right call, referring to the “investigation” into if Gio was the son Brook Lynn gave birth to as a teen.
Unfortunately, he had overheard Lulu’s confrontation of Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and for him, it meant his whole life was a lie and his teenage parents didn’t want him.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had no clue at all and Cody, while he knew Brook Lynn was pregnant, thought she terminated the pregnancy.
If they’d have just let sleeping dogs lie, Gio would be okay, and Dante wouldn’t have the guilt of blaming his own son for the danger his younger son was in!
Trina And Kai Get Closer
Elsewhere, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) are getting closer, and it seems obvious they’re falling in love.
Although it will be later in the week they take their relationship to the next level, now he asks her if she’s sure she wants to do this.
Trina had just witnessed her and Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) good friend Gio’s meltdown, and they committed to being there for him if he wanted them to be.
Plus, little does Trina know that her parents, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) are on the verge of breaking up. It’s a wait and see to be sure, but that would be very upsetting for Trina.
Runaway Road Trip
In the meantime, Gio’s on-the-verge-of-becoming-a-girlfriend Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) ran after Gio after he stormed out of the Metro Court during the Nurses’ Ball.
It appears that now he’s in the Quartermaine mansion with a backpack, and on the way to a runaway road trip.
Emma is there with him, and he must think she’s trying to stop him-instead, she says “I’m not stopping you, I’m going with you!”
Emma knows that Gio is in bad emotional shape, and she cares for him, she knows he shouldn’t be alone. His violin and playing it has been a major part of his life, and his smashing it on stage was very telling of his reaction to overhearing who his birth parents are.
No Compromise
In the meantime, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are still at the Metro Court, standing backstage in the ballroom where the Nurses’ Ball just concluded.
It’s obvious they are talking about the child custody issues between Michael and Willow, as she tells him ‘You can see that a compromise is what’s bad”.
Perhaps Nina thinks Michael is kidnapping his children before the court hearing even takes place on June 2?
Right now nothing’s been set in legal stone about custody of Wiley and Amelia, so no one would be charged with parental kidnapping. However, if Drew were to take them anywhere on his own, that might be!
Angry Daughter Lashes Out!
In the meantime, Brook Lynn has tracked down her mother and lays into her with a vengeance!
Lois is in tears as Brook Lynn tells her what she did is unforgivable! Yes, her son had a great home and was very loved by all-but once his adoptive mother died, he lived with the Cerullos hidden in plain sight.
Brook Lynn has wondered about her baby, not even knowing he was a boy until Lulu told her and showed her the proof. All those years he was right there and she never knew it? Totally unacceptable!
Grandma Stop
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) appears to be making a grandma stop as she tells someone to not take another step!
Might she be addressing Gio and Emma on their way out of the door of the Quartermaine mansion?
Perhaps Tracy may be able to convince her great-grandson not to run away if no one else is able to; upcoming spoilers tease Dante and Brook Lynn will reach out to him, so he must stay.
At least Tracy managed to get herself home after Jason wasn’t able to give her a ride in Friday’s episode. She probably called Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) to pick her up, far be it from Tracy to ride a city bus!
