General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, June 9 tease a sad goodbye, new lows, and a “family” proposal.
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) has a sad goodbye, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) stoops to a new low, and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) makes a “family” proposal to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
A Sad Goodbye
After Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) had his proposal rejected by Elizabeth Baldwin, (Rebecca Herbst) he couldn’t stay in Port Charles knowing they couldn’t be together. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)
Lucky says goodbye to his sister Lulu, after coming to town hoping to save her life-although actually, he did help.
He may not have been a liver match but he did seek to protect her while Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was still alive and killing as an “angel of death”.
But Lucky is too much like their father Luke Spencer, (Anthony Geary) he can’t stay around one place for too long-he has to be on the move.
It’s doubtful that Lulu will be surprised, and their mother, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) even less surprised he’s on the move again-for the record, Lulu hates this.
New Lows
Is anyone really surprised or shocked that Drew will stoop to a new low? He and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) were arguing about his potential exposure of their own affair, but Nina said they’d both lose Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) if he did that!
In the meantime, the court is still in recess, the custody case and divorce hearing aren’t anywhere near over.
We can just bet that Drew’s just getting started with dirty tricks, and from where he stands, he can go quite a bit lower. He tells Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) I’m going to put an end to this right now!
A “Family” Proposal
In the meantime, Cody makes a “family” proposal to Carly, considering his cousin had Carly’s son’s baby-that kind of makes them family, right?
Cody usually doesn’t have much contact with Carly, so baby Daisy Corbin-Corinthos (Levi Clark Coughlin) must be the reason!
On the other hand, Cody would love to take Drew down several notches as well as half of Port Charles, so maybe he has some ideas to pass by her.
However, for now, it sounds like they’re talking about the baby, since he asks her, “Who can say no to love?” And what’s not to love about that adorable new baby?
Flirty Fishing?
It seems like whoever’s not in the courthouse or at Elizabeth’s house, or at GH is at the Metro Court pool!
It looks like Ava Jerome (Maura West) is on a wild west kick, wearing a black cowboy hat and flirting with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).
Or is she just checking out her nephew Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) new boyfriend, presuming she’s in the loop?
After all, she won’t get anywhere flirting with Marco-besides, he might have a thing against martinis given his drunk tank loving mother. She smiles and beckons him to take action as she tells him “hit me”!

Serious Conversations
Elsewhere, Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Amanda Setton, Josh Swickard) are having a serious conversation following the fallout of Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) being revealed as her son. Brook Lynn is sad as she tells her husband, “from this, I have learned from my mistakes.”
Her family, except her husband and her father have lied to her for over twenty years, add to that her grandmother-Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) found out when she did.
Brook Lynn’s disowned both her mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and her grandmother, Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) and Gio doesn’t want anything to do with any of them.
Brook Lynn’s heart is broken over the events of the past few days, who can say if it will ever be healed?

Everything He Needs
Back at the pool, Gio’s got a job as a lifeguard, and he tells someone he has everything he needs.
He’s getting by with a little help from his friends, as the old song goes, and doesn’t want any help from his actual family.
His friends, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are being supportive, but Emma’s the shining star. He will tell the person thanks, but no thanks, he’s okay.

Meanwhile, Back At The Courthouse-
Meanwhile, back at the courthouse, Michael is talking to someone on the phone-he tells the person on the other end, maybe he and they can talk privately at the courthouse.
The court will reconvene now that Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) had their baby. The custody fight and the divorce hearing are nowhere near over, and it won’t be long before shockwaves ripple through the courtroom again.
It sounds like whoever Michael’s talking to is someone he wants at the hearing, possibly someone who can testify and be on his side. It’ll be interesting to see who shows up.

Secrets Revealed?
Did that dirty low down Drew spill the tea Nina didn’t want spilled after all? Willow confronts her mother, telling her she knows she’s been keeping secrets from her.
But are they THOSE secrets, or other secrets-perhaps it’s about Nina setting up Drew with the ketamine.
That was something else discussed in Nina and Drew’s tense conversation of Friday, where she warned him both of them would lose Willow if he told! Willow is calm, but she is deadly serious, and Nina is obviously worried!
