General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, July 30, reveals that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) accused Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) of sabotaging the German clinic visit while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) kept a new secret from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Here’s how all the action played out on Wednesday’s GH episode.
In Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) sought her help with his parents – particularly Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) – since he wanted to speak with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) again.
At the Metro Court pool, Maxie Jones (temporarily played by Nicole Paggi) was there as Lulu blamed Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) for Obrecht’s return to Port Charles.
Afterward, Lulu met with Laura, who felt it was a terrible mistake to ban Rocco from Liesl. Instead, Laura thought Lulu should be more understanding of Rocco’s perspective to avoid getting herself shut out.
Back at the pool, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) spoke to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about his betrayal of Trina Robinson (Brook Kerr), but he stood his ground when it came to his principles.
Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) gave Trina updates on Drew and Nina’s passionate secret blowing up the wedding.
Trina was horrified over the news, but she was reluctant to believe this could change anything regarding her relationship with Kai.
At the pool later, Kai once again stood by his decision to confess to Drew, who was going to be set up for something he didn’t do.
Trina felt it would’ve been nice if Kai regretted his betrayal, but she suggested it wouldn’t have made a difference anyway and stomped off.
Nearby, Nina sat down with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and wanted him to keep working on Willow’s custody case.
Although Nina wanted to keep her part in hiring Ric a secret, he warned that secrets are what got her in trouble.
At Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) place, Willow woke up feeling a bit better and knew going to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place last night was a huge mistake.
Back with Nina, she caught up with Maxie and hinted about Willow potentially doing something horrible.
Nina didn’t share anything about Willow being Daisy Gilmore’s (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford) stalker, but she did suggest Willow’s secret could make sure she never saw her children again.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Drew visited Michael and pointed out that his relationship with Willow was over.
Drew pushed Michael to let Willow see the kids and settle out of court, but Michael couldn’t risk it after her meltdown last night.
Michael also called Drew out for sabotaging Willow’s visit to the clinic in Germany.
Since Drew didn’t have a very good poker face, Michael knew he was right and lashed out over Drew ruining his chance to compromise with Willow.
After Drew left, Willow showed up to assure Michael that she was calm and had a clear head now.
Although Willow regretted her behavior last night, she insisted things were over with Drew and hoped Michael would let her see the kids.
Once Curtis met up with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), he pushed her to hold off on resigning since they were so close to getting what they wanted.
Curtis hoped Drew would leave town and that they’d be in the clear as long as Drew never found out he blabbed to Willow.
Drew arrived at Elizabeth’s house looking for Willow soon after, but she wasn’t there.
Liz spoke to Drew instead and guessed that “he” was just doing what he thought was best when he told Willow the truth.
The wheels started turning for Drew, who figured out it was Curtis who blew up his wedding instead of Nina.
Now that Drew knows who’s actually responsible, General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will have to face his wrath!
