General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, August 14, reveals that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had a traffic cam footage idea to catch Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) while Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) news horrified Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).
At the Metro Court restaurant, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) seemed concerned about Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante), but Drew felt that moving her to D.C. and cutting her off from the Davis family was the right call.
At the pool, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) reminded Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) that he agreed to play the violin at her upcoming birthday party.
Gio admitted he couldn’t play since his violin was broken, but he assured Donna that he’d be at the bash.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) reflected on his own experience of connecting with Dante and ultimately put in a good word for both Gio’s parents.
Next, Molly shared a meal with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), who complained about a gift basket with no card being sent to her after her recent softball injury.
Justine assumed it was from Sonny and wanted to confront him about it, so Molly saw Sonny enter and said now was her chance.
Sonny met with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) before Justine talked to him about the gift basket issue.
Although Sonny played dumb, Justine hinted that she could go after him for harassment and win.
At Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) luxurious new apartment, she showed it off to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and discussed the expensive decorator she’d hired.
Anna sensed that Jordan was enjoying the perks of for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) more than she anticipated.
Jordan didn’t see the problem with that since she hadn’t found any dirt on Sidwell yet, but Anna worried about what would happen if Jordan eventually did.
Would Jordan be able to give up her cushy new lifestyle and do what needed to be done?
At GH, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) surprised Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) with an invitation since he’d arranged for a TV chef she liked to cook for them.
A delighted Portia jumped into Curtis’ arms for a kiss as Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) watched the scene unfold nearby.
Afterward, Isaiah quizzed Portia about where Jordan fit in the picture, but Portia acted like things were good with Curtis and Jordan was a non-issue now.
Back at the Metro Court, Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) had a meeting with Drew before Molly sat down with the congressman next.
Molly was hopeful about working out a Scout solution, but Drew insisted it was too late and blamed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Drew stunned Molly by insisting that the best thing for Scout was to move her to D.C. where she would have no contact with Alexis, Molly or Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
At the pool again, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) got Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to open up about how Kai betrayed her, so Trina explained at least part of the story. Stella was still hopeful about Trina and Kai patching things up.
Kai arrived and tried to convince Trina to talk over some iced tea. Trina had to hurry off, but she paused to thank Kai anyway and seemed to soften just a tad.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Dante spoke to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) about the possibility of getting nearby traffic cam footage to help prove Willow targeted Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford).
If they could see Willow’s vehicle in the footage on the Fourth of July, they could place her at the Q estate where the baby was threatened.
Michael wondered if that would hold up in court before Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) walked in.
After Michael took off, Brook Lynn and Dante strategized about how to handle the Gio situation.
Giving Gio time and space had only resulted in him building up walls.
Brook Lynn thought Dante should try repairing his relationship with Gio without her since he might actually stand a chance that way.
However, Dante insisted this was something they should do together and got her to shake on his plan.
In the park, Willow was lost in thought when Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) approached her.
Willow wound up admitting the slap incident at GH, so Chase asked if Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) did something to provoke her.
Willow felt that Chase was the first person to give her the benefit of the doubt in a while, so that meant a lot to her.
After Willow explained what went down, Chase suggested it sounded like Lucas had it coming.
Talk turned to Chase and Brook Lynn’s adoption plans, which were now on hold since Brook Lynn wanted to wait until things were resolved with Gio first.
Chase wasn’t sure that would ever happen and was starting to worry he’d never be a dad.
Meanwhile, Michael ran into Curtis and heard about his truce with Drew. Although Michael seemed worried it could be a trap, Curtis acted like he was proceeding with caution.
Michael also spoke to Gio at the pool and tried to steer him away from all the resentment he was feeling toward Dante and Brook Lynn.
While Ezra tossed some threats at Laura and Anna, Curtis showed up at Jordan’s new place. Jordan wanted him to inspect every inch of it, so it seemed like the exes were heading into risky territory.
General Hospital spoilers say trouble could still be brewing for Curtis and Portia’s marriage, so stay tuned for updates on all the drama.
