General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, June 9, reveals that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) manipulated Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) when he said Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) didn’t want him or Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) anymore.
First on Monday’s GH episode, Michael called Willow to set up a meeting before court and left her hopeful about a compromise.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was hopeful as well since she thought this was best for the children.
Willow brought up Nina keeping secrets, but she wasn’t mad about the Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) situation since Nina proved her love and loyalty.
At the hospital, Drew met with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and noticed Wiley was within earshot.
That led to Drew insisting that Michael didn’t want Wiley and Amelia anymore now that he had the new baby.
Drew played up how Michael only came home for Sasha and Daisy, so Wiley was immediately distraught.
Although Ric privately seemed uneasy over what Drew had done, Drew acted like he had to do whatever it took to keep Willow and Michael from compromising.
Back with Michael, he found Wiley looking upset and wondered what was wrong.
Wiley explained what he heard from Drew, so Michael assured his son that he was loved and wanted.
Michael pointed out that he’d need Wiley more than ever since he had to be big brother to Daisy and teach Amelia how to be a big sister, so Wiley settled down.
Afterward, Michael complained to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) about Drew’s low blow and once again became determined to get the kids away from Drew.
At the courthouse, Michael gave Willow updates on what Drew said, but Willow acted like Wiley must’ve misunderstood or heard that somewhere else.
Michael pushed Willow to remember this moment as the one where she chose Drew over her kids and stomped inside the courtroom.
When Willow filled Drew in later, he claimed he’d never do that to Wiley.
Drew hugged Willow and acted like this was proof that Michael was unwell.
Once Drew told Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to move ahead with their original plan, court got back in session.
Willow testified about how she didn’t think Michael was a good father anymore and ultimately mentioned how he turned away her clinic visit.
Michael wrote Diane a note to let her know that never happened.
When it was Diane’s turn to question Willow, she asked what was more important: being with the children or being with Drew.
Back at the hospital, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) said a heartfelt goodbye to Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) before giving Lucas the news of his failed proposal and departure.
Lucky also stopped by Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house and told her about his decision to leave town, so they shared their own farewell scenes.
At the Metro Court pool, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) got Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) help getting a piece of artwork through customs and mentioned that he was dating Lucas.
Nearby, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) approached Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), who thought something good came out of all the drama since they knew they were brothers.
However, Gio didn’t want to hear about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who’d made it clear what he thought about him as far as Gio was concerned.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) also made a pitch to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about hosting some events for wealthy singles at the pool, but she turned him down.
As for Kristina, it was her first time back to the pool following her window tumble.
Kristina had a bit of a panic attack, so Gio brought her some water and offered to take her to the elevators.
Instead, Kristina chose to stick around and conquer her fear. That gave Kristina a chance to spy on Cody as he interacted with Ava nearby.
Kristina also spoke with Ava briefly, so Ava suggested it was one of those days that really made you appreciate your freedom.
It was obviously a veiled threat due to the leverage Ava had.
Afterward, Kristina met with Cody and asked if he’d like to make some money.
Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) assured Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that they’d be honest about their new kid’s adoption since she’d learned from her mistakes – unlike Lulu.
Later, Brook Lynn met with Marco and got confirmation that he had no connection to Lulu that’d pose a conflict of interest.
Marco walked inside with Brook Lynn since she was ready to get started – presumably on her plot for Lulu payback!
General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn and Lulu’s feud is far from over, so stay tuned.
