General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, July 28, reveals that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) rejected Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and ran out of their wedding. Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) also heard a criminal confession, so here’s how it all played out on Monday’s GH episode.
At the church, there were no objections to the couple’s union, so Drew kicked off his vows to Willow.
Drew talked about how they’d get Willow’s kids back and how they were going to grow old together.
After listening to Drew talk about their love and bright future, Willow finally pulled her hands away and asked if he slept with her mother.
Drew wondered where this was coming from and seemed reluctant to get into all this, but Willow pushed for honesty.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) took Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) out of the church before things got too ugly.
However, Willow ripped into Drew after he admitted his prior passion with Nina – though he scrambled to explain it away and said Willow was the only one he had feelings for.
Willow fumed over Drew destroying her marriage and only caring about himself, not her children.
When Willow realized Drew really did manipulate Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) through that overheard conversation, she was horrified.
Drew insisted it was a strategy, but Willow recoiled from his touch and bolted out of the church.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) stopped Drew from following Willow, so they had a big showdown.
Drew assumed Nina was the one who blabbed, so they ranted at each other over this blowup as they played the blame game.
After Drew announced to the others that Nina arranged for the escort to drug him, she acted like no one could believe a word out of his mouth anymore.
Although Nina was upset about Willow’s pain, she was at least glad Drew had lost Willow forever.
At the Metro Court pool, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) refused to apply more sunscreen since she thought Cody just wanted her hands all over him.
The abrupt change in Molly’s attitude caught Cody off guard.
Molly ultimately got embarrassed when Cody saw her cowboy-themed trashy romance novel, but she acted like it was research for a book she was writing.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, Michael quizzed Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) about why she was trying to come between Molly and Cody.
Kristina admitted it was because Cody was the kind of guy who’d accept money to seduce someone.
That’s something Kristina knew for a fact since she was paying Cody to seduce Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Kristina wound up coming clean about cutting the brakes on what she thought was Ava’s car – only to find out it was Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) instead.
Michael found out Kristina nearly killed Ric and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) in a crash that wasn’t meant for them.
Kristina also confessed that Ric and Ava were now blackmailing Alexis since they’d uncovered the truth.
Michael was sorry he wasn’t there for Kristina when she needed him and wished he could’ve stopped this mess from even happening.
Kristina was glad to be honest with Michael and finally get everything off her chest.
After Kristina explained a bit more about the paid seduction situation, she warned Michael that Alexis couldn’t know that she’d confessed to him.
Alexis came home early with Scout, so Michael and Kristina heard the failed wedding news.
While Scout was in the other room, Alexis explained how Willow blew up at Drew for sleeping with Nina.
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) came over and watched as Carly handled Wiley’s questions about Willow’s marriage to Uncle Drew.
After Jason asked if Carly knew whether Britt was buried or cremated, she worried he was thinking about digging Britt up.
Carly admitted she didn’t have answers, so Jason ultimately found Liesl drinking alone in the wedding reception area and wanted to talk to her about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
In Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) office, he pointed out that Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) was just playing a part and wanted assurance that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) could do the same.
Brennan seemed concerned about real feelings getting in the way.
Josslyn insisted she knew the difference – though she couldn’t predict how she’d feel months from now.
Brennan appreciated Josslyn’s candor before they turned their attention to the courier’s tracker, which was headed to the Five Poppies resort.
It suddenly went dark, so Josslyn wondered if it was out of range or blocked at some particular location.
Brennan hoped that’s all it was since otherwise someone could know they’re onto them.
Greta the courier eventually made it to Britt’s lab in Croatia, so Britt wondered if there were any complications.
While Drew resolved to find Willow and sought Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) help with something, Willow made her way to Carly’s house.
After Carly opened the door, she found Willow standing there in her bridal gown with mascara-stained cheeks.
Willow blurted out that she needed to see her children and seemed quite frantic about it.
General Hospital spoilers say Willow will hope for visitation, so stay tuned for updates on the messy family drama with Michael.
