General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, July 21, reveals that the show hinted about a Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) connection while Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) fired Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) over an on-air ambush.
In Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office, she convinced Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was indeed working for the WSB.
Anna suspected that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) had used the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) situation to reel Josslyn in and then fast-tracked her for this Dalton mission.
Dante and Anna realized the Easter Island trip must’ve been a way to hide Josslyn’s training.
Although Dante suggested Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) should know about all this, Anna insisted they couldn’t risk blowing Josslyn’s cover.
Dante remained concerned for Josslyn and wondered whether Brennan would sacrifice an agent for this Dalton investigation.
Anna wanted to take things from here, but Dante urged her to think about her own experience and whether she would’ve wanted someone to intervene for her as a young recruit.
Meanwhile, Brennan surprised Carly by booking the pool for a private party so they could spend some extra time together.
As they sipped some bubbly and dipped their feet in the water, Carly offered updates on all the Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford) drama.
Brennan wanted Carly to feel like she could call him when she needed help – even if he could only listen.
As Carly and Brennan continued their discussion, they both seemed excited for their future together.
At the Paris airport, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) tried to get on the same plane as the woman who looked like Britt, but the airline employee turned him away.
Once Jason boarded his own plane, he flashed back to growing closer to Britt and letting passion erupt with her.
Jason also recalled Britt’s heartbreak when she learned he planned to marry Carly.
In Brennan’s office, Josslyn complained to Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) about Brennan dating Carly, but Vaughn pushed her to let it go and avoid getting on their powerful boss’ bad side.
A little later, Vaughn got news over the phone and revealed that after the courier’s stop in Paris, she was headed to Dubrovnik, Croatia.
That’s also where Britt – or at least the woman who looked like her – ended up as she stepped out of a vehicle and said it was good to be back.
Next on Monday’s GH episode, Brook Lynn nervously flew solo on a Home and Heart appearance, but she didn’t realize Lucy Coe (Lynn Herrin) was cooking up a scheme.
Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) joined Brook Lynn while the show was in progress and whispered an apology.
Lucy had given Lois the impression that Brook Lynn knew she was coming.
Although Brook Lynn managed to play nice during the serum segment, she flew off the handle once the cameras stopped rolling.
After threatening Lucy, Brook Lynn fired Lois on the spot and stormed out.
General Hospital spoilers say it’ll take some effort on Lois’ part if she truly wants to repair her damaged relationship with Brook Lynn.
