General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, August 11, reveals that Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medication was used to control her while Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) shared a bed.
At the Metro Court, Ava Jerome (Maura West) was dressed up for a date, but she informed Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that it wasn’t with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) – who didn’t know he’d been dumped yet.
Nina was taken aback over the news that Ava was going out with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) instead and urged her to be careful. Ava insisted she was just having some fun and could handle Cody.
By the pool, Cody ran into Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and bought her a drink.
Since Cody was dressed up for his date as well, he admitted it was with Ava and eventually revealed someone was paying him to distract her.
Tracy had respect for Cody and clearly thought he should respect himself enough to stop this.
When Ava showed up later, Cody made up a horse-related excuse to get out of their date. Ava kissed Cody and was hopeful that they could reschedule.
Meanwhile, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) worried that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) might not want to go away for the weekend after he told her the truth.
Brennan confessed there was a threat with worldwide implications that led to the WSB’s Port Charles office being set up. It could mean Brennan would have to disappear on Carly for an undetermined amount of time.
Carly was just relieved to know Brennan didn’t have a wife and family out there!
Since Carly assumed Brennan wasn’t hiding anything personal, she was fine with him keeping secrets for his job.
In Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) took a walk to cool off while Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) bickered with Laura and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).
Obrecht pointed out that Lulu hadn’t been a mother to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) when she was in a coma – and even after she woke up, Lulu neglected Rocco while she was off searching for Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
Laura defended Lulu as a mom before pushing Liesl to prove she deserved a spot in Rocco’s life.
By the time Dante returned, all of them agreed to move forward with Obrecht having a supervised visit with Rocco.
Liesl eventually met up with Nina and told her how her meeting went with Dante and Lulu.
Obrecht felt certain that Rocco would reach out to her again, so she hinted about doing what Britt would want.
Next on Monday’s GH episode, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gave Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) updates on her latest plan involving Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) getting through to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about the D.C. move.
However, Alexis also wanted to explore the possibility of going after custody of Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante). Molly pointed out all the reasons why it was a long shot and why it could mean losing all access to Scout.
In the end, Alexis seemed to accept that Molly was right, but she still planned to write up a petition of custody in case she needed it.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) admitted to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that she’d learned the Five Poppies Resort was under WSB scrutiny and could be a front for something dangerous.
Anna wondered if maybe Britt was forced to help due to her past connection to Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) work. Jason ultimately promised to keep quiet about what Anna had spilled.
At the Five Poppies Resort, Britt scampered off without her face being seen by Josslyn, who checked in with Vaughn as they played the part of madly-in-love newlyweds.
After Pascal (Marc Forget) gave them a tour of the grounds and got them settled in their suite, Josslyn and Vaughn made sure the room was clear of bugs.
As Vaughn and Josslyn looked at a map, they marked down where they’d seen security cameras and did a little more strategizing.
Vaughn eventually took his shirt off for bed, which left Josslyn gaping at his abs.
When it came time to get under the covers, Vaughn wondered if Josslyn was OK with this.
Josslyn didn’t want Vaughn sleeping on the floor, so they both got in bed and exchanged goodnights.
Back with Britt, she panicked over her medication not being in her room since she couldn’t miss a single dose.
Pascal insisted it was in the lab where the boss expected her to work.
If Britt didn’t do what she was told, her medication could be withheld altogether.
Pascal also took a call from “John Moore” aka Jason as he made a reservation at the resort.
