General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, May 30, reveals that Operation Find Jacinda got underway while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) struggled with a dilemma and Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) faced Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
At a motel outside Port Charles, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) woke up alone and called out for Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).
Gio returned with breakfast sandwiches and coffee, so Emma was relieved to know he didn’t just bail on her.
However, Gio assured Emma that he wouldn’t do that, especially now that she was the only person he trusted.
Emma was there for Gio as he talked through his issues and speculated about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) knowing the truth all along.
Although Gio thought back to moments when his adoptive mother lied to him, he ultimately admitted Camilla was still his mom.
Brook Lynn was just the woman who gave him away as far as Gio was concerned.
After Gio decided he couldn’t keep running from everything he was avoiding back home, he agreed to return to Port Charles with Emma.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) arrived and learned from Brook Lynn that Gio was with Emma.
Brook Lynn assumed that Lois was there to beg for forgiveness and refused to pressure Gio into a similar situation when he needed space.
Although Brook Lynn still blamed Lois for her deception, Gloria walked in and suggested her granddaughter should have it out with her instead.
After Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) brought Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) breakfast, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) showed up and made things awkward.
Once Ric left, Liz talked about establishing clear boundaries with him – though Laura assumed Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) still viewed Ric as a romantic rival.
Elizabeth was uncertain of whether Lucky could stick around for the mundane relationship stuff, but Laura was hopeful they could figure it all out.
At the law office, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) got Lucky and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) to walk her through everything related to Kristina’s attempt to eliminate Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Alexis found out there was likely police officer body cam footage of Kristina at the crash site.
Kristina also confessed that she’d told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about seeing Ric’s smashed-up car.
Later, Alexis spoke to Kristina alone about the possibility of getting Ric and Ava to turn on each other.
Kristina wanted to help, but Alexis made it clear that her daughter had to stay out of this now.
After Kristina left, Laura arrived and shared some concerns with Alexis since a lot of money was missing from Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) trust.
As for Lucky, he returned to Liz’s house and mentioned that he’d been meeting with a lawyer about her accident.
Lucky confessed that he knew more about that accident than he’d told Elizabeth.
At Aurora, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) pushed Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to launch a smear campaign against Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to help Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) custody case.
Curtis pointed out that it could backfire spectacularly since Michael was the majority shareholder and Drew could look like a victim.
Carly eventually decided Curtis was right, but Curtis hinted about having another plan in the works.
Later, Curtis complained to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) since he had to steer Carly away from her plan to protect Portia from Drew.
There was some talk about the drugging plot, so Curtis realized that Drew must’ve framed Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Portia felt confident this wouldn’t blow back on her since the ketamine tied back to Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and no one would believe an ex-con’s word over hers.
When Curtis asked about Jacinda (Paige Herschell), Portia explained that Nina paid her to leave town.
Curtis had an idea on how to neutralize Drew and said they needed to find Jacinda.
At Carly’s house, Michael hoped Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) could watch the kids during the custody hearing, but she couldn’t since Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) had called her to the stand.
Sasha didn’t see any cause for alarm since the questions at the deposition hadn’t involved anything related to the baby.
Speaking of the baby, Sasha felt it kick and put Michael’s hand on her bump so he could feel it as well.
At Crimson, Nina gave Ava updates on how she found out Michael was likely the father of Sasha’s baby, but she struggled over betraying Sasha by exposing the truth.
Plus, if it came out in court that Michael got his secret mistress pregnant and Willow won the case, she’d never leave Drew and might move to D.C.
Nina admitted maybe Willow shouldn’t get full custody as a result.
However, Willow would be furious if she found out Nina knew about the true paternity and kept this under wraps.
There were consequences no matter what, so Ava suggested Nina just had to pick the ones she could live with.
When Rick showed up later, Nina hinted about not knowing what she was going to say in court.
That confused Ric, who wondered if she had something new to add.
Nina sat there pondering her dilemma as Ric awaited answers.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will have to decide whether she’ll spill the real paternity news or bury it, so stay tuned.
