General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, July 11, reveals that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) emailed Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) while Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) stole Vaughn’s (Bryce Durfee) key. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) also dumped Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), so here’s how all Friday’s GH action played out.
At the gallery, Kai admitted to Trina that Jacinda (Paige Herschell) bolted because he told Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) what Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was planning.
Although Kai felt it was the right thing to do, Trina exploded over his betrayal.
After Trina said her family always came first, she insisted Kai would never be family to her.
Kai professed his love for Trina, but she screamed at him to get out. Once Kai headed for the door, Trina looked distraught over the whole ordeal.
At Brown Dog Bar, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) asked Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) to be her cover since she’d spotted Emma with a guy about 10 years older than her and wanted the scoop.
Anna eventually interrupted Emma’s night with Vaughn and put him through a grilling session.
There was some talk about Vaughn working in the facilities department at PCU, but Vaughn made a quick escape to the men’s room.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) showed up to rescue Vaughn with a “it’s her or me” ultimatum, so Vaughn picked her and apologized to Emma.
Vaughn and Josslyn whispered about bailing on their Emma plan before sharing a kiss to sell all this to Anna.
After Anna commented on how intense Josslyn and Vaughn were, she suggested to Emma that maybe it all worked out for the best.
Emma agreed as she looked down at the master key she’d secretly swiped from Vaughn.
At Aurora, Curtis gave Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) the news on Kai blabbing to Drew and ruining his Jacinda plot, so Drew once again had the upper hand.
Portia basically felt like Curtis was blaming her and putting Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) on a pedestal, so she stomped off.
Once Portia made her way to Brown Dog Bar, she was pessimistic about her marriage and held herself responsible.
Isaiah acted like maybe Curtis was the problem instead as he continued bonding with Portia.
Near the Quartermaine boathouse, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) warned Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) heading for disaster.
Chase wouldn’t let Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) off the hook for her part in the feud and made it clear that he wouldn’t turn his back on Brook Lynn.
Inside the Quartermaine mansion, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was with Brook Lynn when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) angrily confronted her about the Rocco situation.
Michael defended Brook Lynn since he didn’t like how Dante was talking to her, but Dante pushed him to stay out of this.
After Michael left, Brook Lynn tried to explain her actions and was sorry since she didn’t mean for Rocco to see that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) file.
Dante pointed out that regardless of what Brook Lynn meant to happen, Rocco indeed saw it and was dealing with a lot.
Brook Lynn cried over hurting Rocco and knew she’d have to live with that.
Since Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) blamed Brook Lynn for what went down, that gave her another reason to be upset.
However, Dante ultimately softened a bit and held out hope that Gio would come around on having a relationship with them.
Back at Aurora, Curtis gave Michael a heads-up on the story that was being published about Sonny and whether he ended Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue).
Michael reiterated that Curtis should do whatever he had to do to protect his family.
At Lulu’s house, she gave Laura Collins (Genie Francis) updates on Brook Lynn’s Britt research and how it blindsided Rocco when he found out his birth story.
Laura had a sweet conversation with Rocco, so she assured him that he was always loved, wanted and a miracle for his parents.
Laura also pushed Rocco to ask whatever questions he needed to ask until he got answers that satisfied him.
Later, Rocco composed an email to Liesl Obrecht that said he used to be her grandson, so he seemed ready to get some answers from her, too.
General Hospital spoilers say Rocco’s latest move is bound to spark some concerns for Dante and Lulu when they find out!
