New soap villain Ray (played by Joe Absolom) appears to have set his sights on vulnerable teen April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) as he continues to inflict his drug agenda on Emmerdale village.
Ray first appeared on the scene when he planned to purchase some marijuana plants grown by Lewis (Bradley Riches) and Ross Barton (Michael Parr), as well as Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).
But Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) stole the batch and sold it to Ray instead, using the cash to buy back some family land from Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb).
Although Robert insisted this was a one-off and there were no more drugs, Ray sent new recruit Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) and another lad into the Butlers Farm barn to look for more gear.
As a result, Dylan was stabbed in the leg with a pitchfork by a terrified Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn).

Stemming the blood himself and failing to seek medical help while he bedded down at the cricket pavilion, Dylan’s injury was clocked by April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan).
When it got worse and Dylan refused to go to the hospital for fear of the police getting involved, April took him to the vet’s surgery to patch him up.

Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) caught them, and he reluctantly agreed to treat Dylan’s wound himself.
Offering Dylan a room for the night, Paddy talked round wife Mandy (Lisa Riley), while Dylan was seen handling drugs from Ray.
But as a new day dawns, Dylan will ignore a text from his dodgy boss.
Later, though, Dylan ends up upsetting April when he ditches her so he can make a secret drug drop-off.
Rhona Goskirk (Zoë Henry) is soon shocked to realise that Dylan must be the intruder that Kyle stabbed, and Paddy and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) will try and convince her not to tell Moira.
Meanwhile, Dylan is mortified that Paddy and Marlon know what he did at Butlers, but relieved when Ray allows him to turn down another job.
All is not as it seems with Ray, though, who is heard making a phone call about Dylan, and it’s clear the lad is being groomed to do Ray’s dirty work.
But as Ray speaks of April, too, it’s clear that she’s to be targeted next.
Emmerdale spoilers for next week reveal that April is manipulated into doing Ray’s next drug delivery – but will she go through with it?
