In the recent episode, John Sugden spiked his husband’s drink to keep him under his control. He has been having doubts that something is wrong with him. In the upcoming episodes, Robert Sugden gets more suspicious when he hears Tracy talking to Charity about Mack’s disappearance. When he talks to Tracy, he realises that there is more to the story. So, John’s half-brother goes to the cottage.
When Robert Sugden confronts his brother in the woods, he accuses him of murder. But John remains unshakable. Meanwhile, Ryan Hawley, who plays the character of Robert Sugden, spoke about the plot. He said that his character wants to save Aaron. The soap star said that there is something wrong with John. He tries to take on John but gets knocked out. He is not good at fighting. Robert gets unconscious. John is relieved to know that he is still alive. But the medic soon realises that Aaron is trying to escape.
Aaron thinks that John is connected to Mack’s disappearance. But Aaron comes face-to-face with his husband. The medic thinks to create a cover story, but as he starts to tell the lies, John’s partner tells him to tell the truth about Mack. Meanwhile, Robert disappears.
Elsewhere, Ryan explains that the medic thinks that Aaron is betraying him. He knows about Robron’s affair, so he thinks Aaron asked Robert to confront him. The medic calls the police to frame his brother. John wraps his arms around Aaron and says that if he can’t have him, no one else will. He pulls Aaron with him as he jumps off the ledge into the gorge.
Meanwhile, Ryan reveals that Robert looks over the two bodies. He calls the ambulance.
However, later, everyone accuses Robert of the murder. They believe that he has pushed the couple out of jealousy. Chas tells him that she won’t leave him, but Robert is concerned for Aaron.
