Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of May 26-30 promise a rollercoaster of emotions for fans.
On the one hand, it looks like Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) will experience a miracle and embark on a new chapter in Salem, while it’s the end of the road for John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
Plus, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) will face a dilemma, so it’s time to talk about what fans should expect to see unfold next week.
Days viewers are still mourning the loss of the late and great Drake Hogestyn, who passed away on September 28, 2024.
Unfortunately, the actor lost his battle with pancreatic cancer, and as the show shoots several months ahead, Hogestyn was not active in his John Black role.
The soap had written him as being on a mission; however, it looks like John Black’s exit storyline will officially launch during the week of May 26-30.
John’s mission to save Bo from dying will go wrong when he gets caught in the crossfire of a lab explosion.
Unfortunately, Marlena will be given the terrible news about John’s injuries, and it doesn’t look like he’ll survive.
John passing away as Bo’s hero seems like the perfect tribute for this legendary character and the iconic actor who played him.
John’s memorial will take place in June, so Days viewers also need to brace for a slew of character returns as loved ones return to the little town to say goodbye.
Regardless, even though Bo was on the brink of death during the week of May 19-23, thanks to John’s heroic act, he will end up living and likely wake up during the week of May 26-30.
It’ll be a bittersweet reunion for Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) as they celebrate the Bo’s survival and new beginning.
It also won’t be long before Salem’s prodigal son returns, even if it means paying his last respects to one of his friends, and the very person who saved his life.
Across town, it sounds like Philip will also awaken from his injuries at the hands of his brother, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).
Xander crossed a line that not only cost him his marriage to Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) but may cost him his freedom, too.
Philip will have quite the dilemma in front of him when he comes to.
He won’t only have to recover from his near-death beatdown but also decide if he wants to press charges against Xander.
Days of Our Lives spoilers imply that once Philip comes to, he may do “the right thing” and refrain from telling the Salem police that Xander was the reason why he landed in the hospital fighting for his life.
Still, will his brother appreciate the gesture, or is there more drama up ahead for these two?
