Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Arianna “Ari” Horton (Marissa Reyes) exploded on the Salem scene during the week of May 19-23, and fans can tell there is more to her story then meets the eye.
While Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) seems in the dark about the real reasons Ari is back in town, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is somewhat suspicious about why her great-granddaughter has surprisingly arrived on the scene.
Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is set to come back during the week of May 26-30, so he may add some insight into why his daughter left Arizona and showed up in their hometown.
It feels like there’s more to the story than Ari missing her Hernandez family and other roots in Salem.
Still, as he might be more preoccupied with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) fighting for his life and saying goodbye to his step-grandfather, Will may not find the time or energy to talk to Gabi about the handful that Ari has turned into.
No one could blame him, though; it sounds like all of John’s loved ones will be on an emotional rollercoaster over the next five days and beyond.
Ari arrived in the little town on Tuesday, May 20, and by the time the end of the week hit, she landed in bed with Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) after meeting him only a couple of hours earlier.
Ari is certainly a wild child, and both her parents were handfuls at her age.
Actually, Gabi is still a handful, so the apple clearly has not fallen too far from the tree!
With that said, what did Ari run away from in Arizona? It seems like she’s looking for a fresh start, but what is she trying to escape?
Was it a whirlwind romance that went south fast? Some criminal activity? Maybe she got pregnant and terminated the pregnancy?
Perhaps she was in a relationship with someone who was shady, so she’s running away from them?
Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that the show will continue to keep fans on the edge of their seats where this Ari mystery is concerned, so it’ll be interesting to see what secrets she’s hiding and why she really came to Salem!
