Coronation Street’s Paul Foreman star Peter Ash looked almost unrecognisable eight months after his tragic soap exit.
Soap watchers will recall that Peter, 40, played Paul on the ITV soap but his character tragically died in September after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
As Paul’s condition deteriorated, he married partner Billy Mayhew, played by Daniel Brocklebank, and was sadly confined to his flat.
Paul died in 2024, seventeen months after his diagnosis, and actor Peter won a National Television Award for Serial Drama Performance over his portrayal.
Now, eight months later, actor Peter appeared at The British Soap Awards 2025, where he is nominated for Best Dramatic Performance, going up against the likes of Steve McFadden, who plays Phil Mitchell on EastEnders, Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays Belle Dingle on Emmerdale, and Isabelle Smith, who plays Frankie Osborne on Hollyoaks.
