Luna’s Out Of Her Coma And Recovering Quickly
Now that Luna has emerged from her coma and is making significant progress in her recovery, she remains focused on her familiar aspirations. Luna still desires to connect with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and claim Will for herself, which isn’t unexpected.
However, what might be surprising is whether Luna can actually reach those goals – at least in some capacity.
Let’s concentrate on Will, as Luna’s thoughts have predominantly revolved around him since her awakening. Will has feelings for Electra, but he’s certainly been facing some challenges and frustration regarding their relationship.
Will Doesn’t Want To Pressure Electra
While Will is keen on not putting any pressure on Electra, he hopes to soon elevate their romance and progress to the next stage.
Electra has subtly suggested that Will could have a fortunate evening during the forthcoming Il Giardino party, making it a significant occasion. It appears Will is viewing this as a memorable night for both of them.
Meanwhile, Luna is excited about the prospect of heating things up with Will and could have her opportunity if she navigates this situation cleverly. Sadly, this implies that Electra may face some emotional pain ahead.
Electra Offered Some Clues In The August 14 Episode
In the episode aired on August 14, Electra hinted at the direction her relationship with Will might take. This insight was revealed through a story about her parents, who divorced after her father was unfaithful to her mother.
This experience is a significant reason why Electra has been so careful regarding relationships and hesitant to make major commitments, such as the one she aspires to have with Will.
It’s evident that Electra wants to avoid experiencing the same pain of betrayal that her mother endured. Will reassured Electra that she was the only one for him and that he had no interest in anyone else.
Electra’s Comments Seem Ominous
Nonetheless, all of this seems quite foreboding – as if B&B is fated to have Electra experience betrayal like her mother did. There’s no rational explanation for why Will would choose to engage with the unpredictable Luna, yet this plot must be leading somewhere.
B&B’s preview clip for the week of August 18-22 depicts Luna crashing the celebration in disguise, holding a mask and appearing quite playful. It’s likely that the show is preparing for a new iteration of a storyline they presented back in 2010.
That was when a masked Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) slept with Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) boyfriend, Oliver Jones (Zack Conroy), mistakenly believing he was Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) during a masquerade event.
Oliver Thought He Was With Hope But Instead Was With Brooke
At that moment, Oliver believed he was experiencing an intense connection with Hope for the first time – not allowing his feelings to ignite with her mother! The show might be preparing for yet another case of mistaken identity because of Luna’s disguise.
Will could find himself slipping away to heat things up with “Electra,” who is actually Luna, in a back alley or something similar.
With the mask and all the alcohol Will is likely to consume, he could be at a slight disadvantage. There’s even a chance that Luna could spike Will’s drink, further adding to his bewilderment.
Viewers Should Remember The Happy Mints And Alcohol
A mix of unique mints and alcohol previously led to Luna’s encounter with Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz). That is, until the storyline changed to make it clear that Luna understood her actions that night.
Now, Luna is aware of what she’s doing again, and it looks like she’s ready to lead Will into a betrayal against Electra – even if he remains unaware of it at that time!
