A CLASSIC soap star has turned heads after showing off a new hairdo.
The actress shared the snap on social media – and fans can’t believe how well she looks.
“My new Spanish ‘do!!” Vicky Entwistle, 57, told fans on social media.
Followers commented: “You look lovely. Casual but still glam.”
The Janice Battersby actress replied: “Aww, thank you.”
“Looking fab Vicky… it really suits you,” agreed a second.
“You look glowing. Good on you,” commended a third.
“You’ve a look of Dame Judi Dench about you. Younger of course,” noted a fourth.
“You look great Vicky. I wish you’d return to Corrie,” begged another.
Vicky – who joined Coronation Street as Janice Battersby in 1997 – has always spoken her mind.
She previously hit back at a “bullying” Corrie boss who she claims “forced her” to shave her hair off.
The 2005 plot saw the character Sean Tully shave off Janice’s locks after she was concerned about having lice.

Taking to X/Twitter, she posted a throwback picture of herself with her shaved head together with her husband, Andrew Chapman.
She then wrote: “Flashback to the world!! A massive TV company bullied me to shave my head! I was heartbroken.
“When I landed on our front door in tears this man was one step ahead of me.
“After mopping up my sniffles he took me to a film premiere and made me own it!! That’s love I guess!
“If I was going to suffer a ridiculous storyline of NITS, then so was he.
“By this time we knew the writers were not only cruel and spiteful but talentless.”
She then went onto blame an unknown boss on the show, before ending the tweet with: “To be fair it lasted another 15 years. Which surprised us both.
“But thankfully it’s on its way out now.”
The star of stage and screen also fell out with former co-star Jane Danson back in 2020.
Vicky accused the scriptwriters of doing a bad job – while Jane hit back at her former on-screen mum.
The pair had a bitter clash online as they disagreed over the soap’s episodes – but Vicky later apologised.
The Lancashire lass has gone on to star in stage plays and pantos since leaving the Cobbles.
Elsewhere, Bruce Jones – best known for playing Corrie character Les Battersby – surprised fans by stepping into wrestling ring 15 years after leaving popular TV show.
Vicky has had previous feuds with her former Corrie co-stars over the years.
