The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) are kicking off a fierce fight for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), but which man will win Hope’s heart in the end?
Carter is already eager to lock in a future with Hope, but he’ll become even more determined soon enough.
That’s because Carter will fear he could lose Hope to the competition now that Liam’s decided he wants Hope back.
After Hope rejects Liam’s plea to reunite, she may leave Carter in the dark on her ex-husband’s latest pitch.
However, that won’t stop Carter from sensing Liam’s goal of putting his family back together.
B&B’s preview video for the week of August 25-29 shows Liam insisting nothing’s more important to him than Hope and Beth Spencer (Jordyn Gracie).
Carter is forced to watch a family group hug and ends up glaring at Liam in that promo clip.
It’s clear that Liam won’t let Hope and Carter’s engagement stand in his way.
Hope isn’t Mrs. Walton yet, so there’s still time for Liam to wear her down and convince her that they should be a couple again.
Of course, Carter will do everything in his power to stop Hope and Liam from continuing their love story.
Carter wants Hope to tell a new love story with him instead, so he’ll pressure Hope to elope and try to shut Liam down.
At some point, it’s easy to imagine Carter confronting Liam about his intentions and urging him to back off.
Liam might insist he can’t do that – not when his family’s future is on the line.
Even if Hope goes along with a quickie wedding, that doesn’t guarantee that she’ll become Carter’s wife.
Liam might interrupt the ceremony with one last speech that could win Hope over.
On the other hand, Hope might simply think back on all her Liam memories and decide she can’t go through with marrying Carter.
Whatever the case, Carter could be at a disadvantage here since Hope and Liam have so much history.
Liam and Hope also share a daughter, so there are some good reasons for Hope to choose him over Carter in the end.
