The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) didn’t anticipate where she’d be at this point in her life. Single status isn’t something she desired or may retain for much longer.
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was a longtime friend. But he never romantically thought of Hope until more recent times.
Hope hadn’t considered Carter because she was in love with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) for so many years. The triangle involving Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Hope, and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) allowed time to slip away.
The above storyline won’t be revisited in the near future. But a new one could include Hope’s connections to Carter, Liam, and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Thomas Forrester Might Become A Third Option
For the moment, Thomas isn’t an option. Viewers saw that he was engaged to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) the last time they and Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) returned to Los Angeles, California.
However, readers of this comprehensive soap site know that Atkinson will soon return to the cast. Fans will learn if he’s still tied to Paris. If so, then that storyline will continue, likely with Douglas also along for the ride.
Thomas may reappear as a detached man. An explanation about his personal life will surely be offered, along with whatever details about the son that Hope adopted, assuming Douglas isn’t also back. But until that happens in the coming weeks, Hope has two options while believing she has only one.
Carter Walton Wants To Move Forward
Carter was involved with Paris and her sister, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). He was also passionately connected to Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), with that created connection fusing hot and then oddly being eliminated.
Hope became the next great love of Carter’s life. He’s matured through what’s happened in recent years and is intent on getting this connection right.
Hope appears to be the right woman at the right time. She’s single, has no attachments, and believes that the father of her daughter, Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza), is going to die.
Liam gave Carter his blessing a short time before learning that Paris’ and Zoe’s mother, Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech), lied about the inoperable brain tumor. That reversal put Liam instantly back in the picture.
Liam Spencer Loves Hope Logan
There’s something that Thomas and Carter can’t compete with. He shares a biological child, Beth, with Hope.
Thomas wanted Hope to become Douglas’ adoptive mother. She generously granted that wish. Carter and Hope might have children someday, but they don’t have any now.
Hope’s enduring link to Liam can’t be underestimated, as Carter will likely see. As for Thomas, he’s often been the wild card and will add a needed dose of uncertainty when he returns to LA, where Hope has been living peacefully and with optimism about her future.
