General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, August 21, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) caught Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) arms after his Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) arrest scheme flopped.
At the PCPD, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) privately told Drew that he’d sign the statement against Michael if Drew called off Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) fraud investigation.
Drew refused to stop it, so Martin went back to ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) and said he didn’t remember seeing anything.
After Martin refused to sign and left, ADA Turner insisted there was nothing she could do without witnesses.
Drew flew into a rage and acted like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) bought Turner off.
Michael faced Drew’s wrath as well since Drew was determined to get Willow’s kids back for her.
At Aurora, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) wanted to fight back against Drew, but Stella was prepared to face the consequences of her actions – even if that meant losing her job at GH.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) warned it could be worse since Stella might land in prison, but Curtis refused to let it go that far.
Martin showed up and apologized for accidentally giving Drew the upper hand. Now Martin was definitely in enemy territory when it came to Drew.
At Bobbie’s, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) worked on her book, so she imagined she was the lead character and fantasized about Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) stealing her away from another man.
Once Molly realized Cody was there to pick up takeout, she approached him with a horse-related question.
Cody urged Molly to do an online search for the answer herself and coldly took off.
Molly got stuck writing afterward and complained to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) once she arrived.
Kristina confessed Cody had probably been at the hospital all night and shocked Molly with updates on Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) ordeal.
On Molly’s way out of Bobbie’s, she ran into Michael and faced questions about what was on her mind.
Molly ended up blurting out that she thought she had feelings for Cody.
At the Metro Court pool, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) brought Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) there for lunch, so she praised him for taking Willow’s case pro bono and made him uncomfortable.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) glared at Ric and Liz while having her own lunch with Nina nearby.
Nina mentioned she was secretly paying Ric to represent Willow, so Ava seemed eager for Liz to find out about that.
However, Nina warned that Ava had to keep quiet, so Ava resolved to find another way to make trouble.
Later, Ava cornered Ric alone to gripe about the shell corporation accounts being locked, but Ric acted like it was just a temporary thing to curb her spending and avoid attention.
Ric ultimately met with Alexis to push for one last payment and suggested they’d be done after that.
At the Quartermaine stables, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) pitched in with the horses while Cody was busy.
That gave Tracy a chance to talk to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who was avoiding the hospital because of Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).
Brook Lynn explained how Lulu had been friends with Maxie longer, so she felt like it was her turf.
Tracy felt that Brook Lynn would regret not being there for Maxie and pushed her toward a truce with Lulu.
At Maxie’s house, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was apologetic for mentioning the possibility of Maxie’s coma since that had to be triggering for Lulu.
Lulu reflected on the hardship of missing years with her children and suggested she may have overreacted about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) digging for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) answers.
Liesl acknowledged that she should’ve told Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about Rocco getting in touch, but she got swept up in the moment.
Lulu understood that and seemed open to peace with Obrecht – though she’d never get past the pain Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) caused.
After Lulu suggested she could stay with the kids while Liesl visited Maxie, Obrecht smiled since Maxie would get a kick out of them getting along.
Later, Brook Lynn came after getting Lulu’s phone call, so they were both ready to call a truce for Maxie’s sake.
Back at the hospital, Drew found Willow and told her about Michael assaulting him.
Willow wondered why, so Drew said it was because he told Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) that she missed him.
Drew managed to tug at Willow’s heartstrings a bit and spoke with her privately about Michael rigging the system.
It seemed like Drew was trying to put some fear in Willow since he warned she might never see her children again.
Drew also claimed Nina threatened him into keeping their hookups a secret from Willow, so he kept spinning things to make himself look better.
Drew acted like the hero who’d fight for Willow and would help her get her kids back.
Willow wound up embracing Drew right as Nina arrived, so Nina looked worried at the sight of them together.
Back with Liesl, she brought Maxie flowers and was urged by Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) to stick around.
After Cody got a pep talk from Tracy, he worked on some chores while shirtless at the stables.
Ava showed up with some sympathetic words about Maxie, but Cody hinted that wasn’t the good guy Ava thought he was.
General Hospital spoilers say Cody will be tempted to make a major admission, so stay tuned to see whether he’ll go through with spilling any big news.
