The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) doesn’t realize that he’ll have to deal with a second, more profound shock. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) never intended to kill his son, but the never-dead Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) did.
Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) dramatic conversation with his father happened with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) in the room. That backup mattered and links to another developing story.
But what mattered to Bill was that his son was intentionally hurt by a woman who took an oath not to harm her patient and did exactly that. This is why Grace is first on his hit list.
Grace Buckingham Felt Trapped
Why didn’t Grace contact the authorities? The simple answer is that she was scared and not thinking straight. She believed the elaborate ruse about Liam having a brain tumor would cause Bill to forcibly help her, which he did.
But Bill didn’t know that the million dollars he electronically transferred to Grace went to her ex-husband’s bookie. Yes, Reese Buckingham’s (Wayne Brady) gambling debt storyline, which began years ago, is still being mined in daytime.
Bill likely would have helped Grace if she had behaved rationally or acted with honesty. All she had to do was inform the police that she was threatened and be written through a plot line where Liam learned about the threat she was facing. He could have relayed that to Bill, and there would have been no need for the lie she told.
Luna Nozawa Lies Safely In Bed
This time around, Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) and Li Nozawa (Naomi Matsuda) are in alignment.
Unlike the time when Li lied about John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) death, Sheila has no interest in physically attacking Li or driving her into the water during a high-speed car chase.
The ladies care about Luna because she is their family. They jointly blame Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) for Luna’s veering off-course and are overjoyed that their mutual presence led to this awakening, which had deeply soapy undertones.
Bill Spencer Defends His Family Against All Threats
Bill was moved by Liam’s seemingly imminent death. It affected his heart, pushing the Dollar Bill personal underground.
But Liam and Hope knew Bill would erupt once he learned about Grace’s corruption. They aren’t aware that Luna lives, which makes their reveal to Bill about Grace a precursor.
Li will be aided by Sheila in protecting a gigantic secret. They know Luna will be imprisoned if her existence becomes public knowledge, and that many on her enemy’s list don’t take the law into their own hands.
Grace gave Liam medicine that produced brain tumor symptoms. But Luna shot Liam to kill him. Bill will have zero compassion for her or those who shielded her continued existence when he inevitably becomes aware that she’s alive.
