General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans are now asking if Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) made a horrible mistake. Was crossing Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) the worst thing Drew could do?
In the August 7 episode, Drew approached Sidwell and pushed for whatever dirt he could offer on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Sidwell realized it was part of Drew’s strategy against Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), but he wasn’t interested in helping.
However, Drew made it clear that he wouldn’t take no for an answer. This was a demand rather than a request, so Drew was quick to point that out.
In fact, Drew warned that if he didn’t get the Sonny dirt he was after, he could make life very difficult for Sidwell. That left Sidwell wondering if Drew was threatening him – and he obviously was!
On social media, fans have been buzzing about Drew’s risky move and the consequences it could have. Drew may have made a dangerous blunder depending on where GH writers want to take this storyline next.
Sidwell is a villain who’s proven he’s capable of terrible things. If Sidwell feels that Drew’s going to become a real problem for him, there could be big trouble.
For now, Sidwell may just monitor the situation and see what Drew does next. If Drew’s all talk, then he might be safe from Sidwell’s wrath.
On the other hand, Drew has been a man of action lately with all his blackmail plots and bold moves on canvas. There’s no reason to think Drew will stop now, so he could indeed make life very difficult for Sidwell if he doesn’t get his way.
If Drew makes a vengeful move against Sidwell, it could seal the deal on Sidwell striking back. Drew’s life could be in jeopardy depending on how far Sidwell takes his own revenge plot.
Some danger could erupt and leave Drew wishing he’d just left Sidwell alone. Drew might live to tell the tale in the end, but Sidwell could certainly retaliate and take Drew down a few notches.
It would serve Drew right and would honestly be pretty satisfying to watch Sidwell show him who’s boss!
