Things have gone a bit wrong for Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) and his weed business, so it’s no wonder he is in need of a new job in Emmerdale.
When Lewis was kicked out of his house, he turned to brother Ross Barton (Michael Parr) to help him find somewhere to store his precious plants.
Ross came through and found an abandoned barn perfect for storing the illegal fauna, but it came with a caveat – Ross made it clear he planned to sell the crop to pay off the huge water bill that had landed on Moira’s doorstep.
Lewis was distraught and made Ross promise not to touch the weed, but that didn’t stop Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) making a deal with the devil and agreeing to sell the lot to dealer Ray (Joe Absolom).

Lewis found out about this and was utterly destroyed at the betrayal, so Mack attempted to call off the sale.
But before any of them had chance to react, the entire crop was stolen from right under their noses. Whether it was Ray or someone else hoping to benefit, Lewis was out of his money-making scheme and distraught.
Anyone would think it would be enough to have Lewis running for the hills and leaving his devious brother behind, but instead something comes up to keep Lewis in town.
