Carla and Lisa have been through the wringer lately, proposals, grief, family drama but just when things started to settle down, something new seems to be brewing. Carla Said No… But That Wasn’t the End
So, earlier this month, Lisa popped the question to Carla. But the timing couldn’t have been worse. Lisa was reeling from the sudden death of her colleague, Craig Tinker. Though Carla didn’t say yes, it wasn’t a flat-out rejection either. She just wasn’t in the right headspace.

Lisa and Carla tracked her down and had what looked like a turning-point conversation. Instead of falling out, the three of them managed to come together, and that’s when Carla and Lisa decided to share something big with Betsy.

Jack P Shepherd, who’s played David Platt for years, was chatting on his On the Sofa podcast with Ben Price and Colson Smith when he casually dropped a little nugget that sent fans into detective mode. He said he’d done a lot of improvisation that day on set, and mentioned that he’d had a massive scene with both Carla and Lisa.
