Emmerdale’s Daisy Campbell has joined the cast of Casualty.
The star, who is 21, played the role of Amelia Spencer in the ITV soap from 2011-2024.
The character departed at the end of last year with her young daughter Esther in tow. Amelia had just been in a relationship with abusive character Tom King (James Chase), and chose to leave to start her life again.
Her exit storyline featured the return of her biological father Daz (Mark Jordon). He arrived in the Dales to pick Amelia and Esther up, and they then left together.

Daisy will make a return to soapland this Saturday, in the latest episode of Casualty.
The actress will have a guest role in the show, and will appear alongside the likes of Holby ED favourites Rash Masum (Neet Mohan) and Rida Amaan (Sarah Seggari).
Speaking about her exit from Emmerdale, Daisy previously revealed to Metro: ‘It feels really sad. It’s mixed emotions really. It’s been such a tough year, and I’ve had to deal with so much, but I was so at peace when leaving because I’ve grieved.

‘I’m not only grieving for myself, it’s a character that I’ve always played, this is my first ever job from being seven, so it felt really sad.
‘But then it was nice to close the door and be at peace, because I’ve just allowed it to play out as it has this year. But yeah, it’s really upsetting, because it’s all I’ve ever known.
