
General Hospital recaps for Wednesday, June 18 reveal Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) is protective, while Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) gets bad news. Plus, someone spies on Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), and the kids.
Plus, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) drops a bombshell on Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
Isaiah Gannon’s Protective
At the hospital, Isaiah welcomes Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), pleased to see that he’s doing well after the ‘accident’. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)
Ric discovered that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) has gone to Europe and asks the doctor how long he will be away and when he might come back.
Gannon provides Lucky’s number so Ric can reach out to him directly. Ric insists that his only worry is for Elizabeth.
Gannon comforts Ric by assuring him that he is taking care of Liz while Lucky is away, to which Ric responds that she doesn’t require his protection.
Kai Taylor Gets Bad News
Down the hall, the cameraman, Josh (Stephen Ellis), is filming Kai and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), who seems quite uneasy. Josh steps away to change his battery, and Trina inquires if this will be over once he receives the go-ahead to play.
Kai believes it depends on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but Trina reminds him that he doesn’t owe Drew anything for life; they agree to disagree and proceed to his doctor’s appointment.
he appointment is being recorded, and Dr. Mohinder (Steve O’Connor) informs him that the titanium hasn’t sufficiently fused to his spine due to the damage from the original fracture. Kai is skeptical; is that it-will he never play football again?

Kai Is Devastated
General Hospital recaps reveal that Kai asks Josh to turn off the camera, and the doctor explains that this is the best it will be, warning that they can’t risk another procedure.
While it might change in the future, he can’t participate in contact sports because the consequences could be severe, he expresses his regret; Josh resumes filming, apologizing and inquiring about how Kai feels.
Trina shouts at him to remove the camera from his face or she’ll kick him and the camera out of a window. Josh apologizes again and walks away.
Trina feels sorry, Kai is heartbroken and embraces her; he feels foolish for thinking he would be okay, but she reassures him that he was just being optimistic.
Almost in tears, he shares that his hopes and dreams feel shattered. Trina expresses her sympathy-she holds him closely as he apologizes for breaking down.
Alexis Davis Talks To Elizabeth Baldwin About Her Accident
Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) discusses the car accident with Liz at Liz’s residence, offering to give her a second legal opinion if she wants.
She informs Liz that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) mentioned Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) is pressuring her to take legal action against the car company.
Liz firmly responds that she has no intention of doing that and wishes to move on from the incident. Later, she calls for Kristina because she wants to have a conversation with her about an important matter.
Cody Bell Works His Plan
Meanwhile, Kristina touches base with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) during the June 18 episode at the Metro Court pool regarding their plan.
He mentions that he’s currently on it and quickly ushers her away to avoid getting caught since Ava Jerome (Maura West) is approaching.
When Ava arrives, Cody hastily unbuttons his shirt and strikes a pose, beckoning her over; she’s busy with some work by the pool, so he invites her to join him.
Kristina observes their interaction until Liz calls, requesting her presence. Cody and Ava chat about Vegas and share their secret gambling strategies, as Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) enters and watches them.
Molly Lansing-Davis Seems Jealous
Alexis arrives, surprised that Molly asked to meet there. After all, it’s not really their usual spot. Meanwhile, Molly observes Cody with Ava, and Alexis takes note.
Molly feels uneasy seeing Ava ‘sink her fangs’ into Cody as she believes he’s a good guy and shares with her mom how he’s helped her several times.
Meanwhile, Cody tells Ava about his past of hustling poker games, and she smiles, recalling that her daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) used to do the same.
Although she didn’t approve, she felt a sense of pride deep down; they share a laugh, and Ava mentions that her daughter passed away years ago.
She expresses gratitude for the memories he brings back. Cody flirts, saying he would have remembered her if she had been in Vegas. Ava leaves, and Cody jumps into the pool.
Curtis Ashford Rebuffs Portia Robinson
In his office, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) tells Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) that he wishes she had believed him regarding Drew’s blackmail.
She feels the same way and loves him. She leans in for a kiss, but he isn’t prepared; she understands that she needs to regain his trust and hopes he will give her another chance.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) then arrives, looking apologetic, Portia mentions that she’s interrupting, but Curtis invites her to stay, which earns a glance from his wife.
Curtis tells Portia they will discuss this privately. She exits, and Jordan feels guilty for creating tension. She is checking in on Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) media purchase for ‘yes on Measure C’.
Curtis Shares His Frustration
Curtis is frustrated with the situation and Drew’s request for him to write a negative article about Michael; Jordan is shocked, but Curtis feels he has no option.
He confesses that he was honest with Michael, who urged him to stay involved and comply with Drew’s wishes, allowing Drew to believe he has the upper hand for the time being.
Jordan admires Michael, and Curtis reveals he couldn’t bring himself to tell Michael that it’s too late for him and Portia.
As she leaves, he answers a call and steps outside to contact Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to meet up. She needs a friend and a strong drink.
Drew Cain Proposes Marriage
At home, Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) tells Drew that she fell in love with this house when they first visited, but it feels empty, “like me,” she remarks.
She holds Amelia Corinthos’s (Serenity and Sequoia Mork-Macko) giraffe plush toy, and Drew attempts to make promises he knows he might not be able to keep.
He believes that Michael will negotiate in time, while she is skeptical and considers him too powerful.
“Maybe he was right not to trust my judgment,” she states; Drew feels responsible. He mentions that Martin has a plan for her to regain custody of her children: they should get married.
Drew Continues To Plead His Case
General Hospital recaps for Wednesday’s show note Willow is taken aback at Drew’s proposal, and he continues to plead his case for getting married.
He wanted to focus on romance and their love, but they don’t have that option; they need to demonstrate to the courts that they have a stable home for the kids.
She is aware of that; it’s the reason she initially married Michael. She is uncertain if this will work, and since she feels overwhelmed, Drew encourages her to take her time to think it over. No matter what she decides, he still loves her.
Sasha Corbin & Michael Corinthos Have A Serious Talk
At the Quartermaine mansion, Sasha and Michael are having a conversation, and Sasha feels guilty about encountering Willow at the hospital.
He’s relieved that no one caused a scene, while she feels bad about bringing their baby home while she’s leaving without hers. “Thanks to me,” he says. Sasha isn’t judging him; she’s happy that the kids are with him.
He inquires about the custody of Daisy Gilmore-Corinthos (Levi Clark Coughlin) and notes it is her decision. She confesses that she’s worried he might fight her for custody; she wants to be the only parent on her birth certificate and wishes to raise her alone.
Michael isn’t pleased about being excluded from her life, but Sasha explains she doesn’t want that either.
She wishes to raise the baby by herself but still desires him to be part of her life, just as she always has, Daisy will understand that he is her father.
Michael respects her choice and accepts it, but he insists on having it documented that if anything were to happen to her, he would take on the role of Daisy’s guardian.
He provides his complete support. Later on, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia get to meet their sister Daisy when Michael brings them over. The parents watch lovingly as, outside, someone observes the little family.

Elizabeth Baldwin’s Bombshell
When Kristina gets to Liz’s house, she’s shocked to find out that Liz knows she cut Ric’s brake lines, mistakenly thinking it was Ava’s vehicle.
“You attempted to kill Ava,” she tells her, while Kristina explains how she broke down after mourning ‘Adela’.
She had a fight with Ava and noticed the wirecutters; she tried to alert her before it was too late and confesses that she passed the crash site and was horrified.
“Yeah, because you hit me and Ric,” Liz responds. Kristina acknowledges she planned to confess if they were hurt worse – Liz doesn’t seem impressed.
She also had Lucky cover for her. Krissy questions whether Liz will report her, and Liz refuses, saying her family has endured enough.
Trina Robinson Vents To Her Mom
In Portia’s office, she and Isaiah discuss Liz and her feelings about Lucky’s departure. Portia understands that sometimes it’s hard to move on from an ex, and she brings up Jordan, expressing her belief that Jordan hasn’t moved on from Curtis.
Later, Trina rushes into her mom’s office with the heartbreaking news about Kai. She has a strong dislike for Drew.
He mentioned he had something to handle and promised to call her before he leaves. Meanwhile, Kai visits Drew to inform him that the documentary won’t go as they expected.
