Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, May 23, suggest some dicey moments in the land of Salem.
First off, the good news is that fans will see Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfons), along with Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal); however, it won’t be under the best of circumstances.
Fans will get transported to the medical facility where Bo is in a coma, fighting for his life, and Ciara and Hope will be by his bedside as they struggle with the reality that his days are numbered.
There will be a ton of emotion floating around as mom and daughter reel over what they believe to be their final moments with Bo.
As Hope and Bo will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of their first wedding, Days viewers will likely see some fun flashbacks of the couple in their younger years.
The silver lining in all this is that fans know this isn’t the end for Bo, and he is slated for a new chapter, very soon.
Meanwhile, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will be praying for Bo’s recovery, so will her words play a small role in saving Hope’s husband when all is said and done?
With that said, some of it will also have to do with the heroic effort of his friend, John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
John rolled back into town on the Thursday, May 22 episode, ready to help Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) snag the sepsis medication Bo needs to recover.
He didn’t even stop at home to say ‘hi’ to his family before jetting off on a new adventure!
Unfortunately, something will go very wrong during this mission. In fact, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will inform Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) of John’s tragic news.
Fans need to brace themselves for some emotional moments up ahead as Salem says goodbye to a legendary character and actor.
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that John’s funeral is on the horizon, with a slew of characters returning to the little town to pay their respects.
While it’ll be nice to see some familiar faces back in Salem, it’ll also be sad to officially bid adieu to John Black and his portrayer, Drake Hogestyn.
