You’ve likely seen commercials about St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and if you have, you know that everyone involved works to treat and fight childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Because of donations, the hospital can do so at no cost to families who are already dealing with so much — and now, some of your favorite soap stars are coming together to help the fight. The Daytime at Night – A Benefit for St. Jude is being organized by The Young and the Restless’ Lily Brooks O’Briant (Lucy) and is set to be a one-of-a-kind concert experience. The fun will go down on Thursday, May 29 at The Troubadour in West Hollywood and stars will join fans for a powerful evening of music, connection and giving back.
Taking the reins as hosts will be General Hospital’s Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), Days of Our Lives’ Cherie Jimenez (Gabi) and Galen Gering (Rafe), Beyond the Gates’ Mike Manning (Smitty) and The Bold and the Beautiful’s Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter). Plus, stars from all five soaps are scheduled to perform, including General Hospital’s Anderson, Tabyana Ali (Trina), Carolyn Hennesy (Diane) and Josh Kelly (Cody), Days of Our Lives’ Elia Cantu (Jada), Young & Restless’ O’Briant, Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Nathan Owens (Holden) and Loren Lott (ex-Ana), Beyond the Gates’ Karla Mosley (Dani) and Bold & Beautiful’s Annika Noelle (Hope), as well as The Day Players: Carson Boatman (Johnny), Wally Kurth (Justin), Brandon Barash (ex-Stefan) and Eric Martsolf (Brady) with more talent to be announced.
“This night is about coming together to give back,” said O’Briant. “As performers, we are honored to use our voices in a way that helps bring hope to children and families who need it most.”
Doors will open at 7:00 pm, with the show starting promptly at 7:30 pm. Tickets can be reserved today and if you can’t make the event but would still like to donate, visit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for ways to give.
